Tracy Lee Simmons of the Cambridge Study Center writes that, "visions and ideals need a path, a way, a roadmap people can use as to arrive at those better, more permanent things".
That brief and eloquent quote beautifully sums up the crucial work we endeavor to take on here at Kolbe Academy and Trinity Prep School. Faculty, students and families work together, pouring out the very best of themselves in order to help create a society built on the, "better, more permanent" and time-tested values of virtue, reason, and faith.
The "path" we set our students upon includes primary sources from some of the greatest philosophers, theologians, and academics in Western history, debate, foreign language, science, arts, and maths. We strive to teach our students to think critically, speak effectively, and write convincingly, necessary achievements which are sadly overlooked in many schools today.
As a Catholic school under the Diocese of Santa Rosa we recognize the source and summit of our existence as a school as being drawn from the Sacraments, and the Magisterium of the Church. Students take advantage of many service projects and volunteer opportunities, and learn to care for and to serve their fellow man in a genuine way. The school constantly seeks to live up to it's motto "Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam", which means to do all for the greater glory of God.
We offer all of this in a strong and safe family environment, and we boast one of the lowest tuition schedules in the Napa Valley, so that anyone who wants to set-out down their own educational path has the resources to do so.
Please join us in our quest to make the world a better place, one student at a time! Through your support you will help to build a lasting impact, and to reinforce "the better, more permanent things" for generations to come!
